I am a curious seeker, seed planter, creative counselor, and licensed Marital and Family Therapist. I’ve been around the block a few times—actually, the world—and I believe my life experience and training uniquely qualify me to journey with individuals and families navigating the often difficult challenges we all face.
My passion includes working with people who are having difficulty living life to the fullest.
I am particularly interested in working with . . .
1) women in difficult places whose stories of pain and heartache have
bound them to brokenness, shame, isolation, and compromise,
2) those who feel their existence is stagnant and dying, helping them to see
the possibilities of personal relevance and meaning,
3) couples who desire more than the status quo for their marriage.
I have experienced the journey of walking with others through trauma, depression, grief, conflict, anxiety, and an array of other hurts. I have seen that pain occurs in relationship and believe that healing most often comes within relationships as well.
My approach is casual and creative. I focus on the elements and emotions of your personal story and the relationships in which there has been harm or misunderstanding.
In addition to holding graduate degrees in Marriage and Family Therapy and Biblical Studies, I have gained practical experience through 24+ years of marriage, three early adult children, cross-cultural living, and a lifetime of walking with others over rocky terrain to find hope and relevance in their stories.
